The hotel that opened in September 2020 is the first of the Urban Loft brand that collaborates with local partners and operates according to the theme “open doors, open minds, the beds are just a bonus“ in order to offer guests a curated mix of art, culture and culinary delights. “With our loft we did not just open a hotel but a special place, a temporary home and a central meeting point – for locals and for travelers from all over the world”, explains Miho Radic, host of the Urban Loft Cologne.

The lobby thus has been concepted as an open space area – a combination of lounge and co-working space that creates room for pop-up stores and exhibitions – and with that a space for creative exchange and inspiration. With Schamong, the hotel hooked up with the city’s oldest coffee roasting facility as a partner for the Coffee Bar. And on top of that, they serve sweet delicacies from the pastry store TörtchenTörtchen next door.
