Chef Michael Caine had a dream: a place that would allow for the communal experience of dining by the sea in casual surroundings as much as a simple drink and nibbles.
Now, Mickeys Beach restaurant offers all of that, with a bright, bold design that seems to blend with the expansive views across the bay. Even the seating arrangement, designed by Studio Design Command, maximizes views of the beach, while the lighting uses sail lines, rope and weathered metal to echo seafaring motifs.
For the adjacent terrace, on the other hand, the designers opted for fine paving that extends further into the open space. The walls are covered with decorative framed mirrors – another virtuoso trick by the designers to capture the breathtaking views of this place.
