This London boutique hotel is based on ideas of community and social balance, and deliberately blurs the distinction between indoor and outdoor spaces. Hotel guests are encouraged to spend less time in their rooms and more in the public zones-a spatial continuum of six landmarked Georgian townhouses, after all, with Scandinavian and British design dominating. Collaborations with Goldfinger Design, which offers a carpentry apprenticeship for people from disadvantaged backgrounds, are part of the concept.
