Since October 2021, Vienna’s 6th district is one hotspot richer. Lead by renowned architect Arkan Zeytinoglu, the rather run down Hotel Kummer in the Mariahilfer Straße was turned into the relaxed lifestyle hotel Motto.
The extravagant boutique hotel with a slight French touch perfectly fits Vienna’s number one shopping mile. The rooms are dominated by lush art-déco charm: Fabric covered walls with floral patterns and elaborate herring-bone parquet build the frame for selected furniture pieces.
What’s special: Every velvet cover, every champagne glass and every mirror were personally selected by owner Bernd Schlacher. Further, he auctioned several pieces from the Hotel Ritz in Paris. Further, rugs, tiles and brass fixtures as well as furniture and lamps are unique pieces designed by Arkan Zeytinoglu and his team for the hotel.
