The artistic and cultural energy of 1960s Milan is the spiritual home of Casa Baglioni. A time characterized by movement, innovation, architecture and design, which made the interplay of art forms its main field of research.
The house takes on the spirit of this moment and presents itself as an eclectic place where not only colors, materials and textures meet, but also art and design merge into an avant-garde melange. The carpets are reminiscent of works of art by Enrico Castellani and Agostino Bonalumi, while the diamond-patterned ceilings in the guest rooms are based on the geometric effects and colors of the 1960s.
The light also plays its part: The lights in the 30 rooms and suites refer to sculptures by Fausto Melotti, the large chandelier by Panzieri at the entrance to the neon structure by Lucio Fontana, which can be seen in the Museo Del 900 in Piazza del Duomo.
The “Clara” and “Claretta” chairs, fully upholstered in fabric, were designed by Spagnulo & Partners for the hotel and are now available in the “Rubelli Casa” collection
